OwnPhones is developing custom fitted 3D wireless headphones that are built for your ears. OwnPhones headphones are build to improve your hearing, are completely wireless, cancel surrounding noise and will stay in place while you are walking or running. OwnPhones offer status lights, soundscaping, and are integrated with Bluetooth technology.
OwnPhones raised $750,000 through a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign for its earbuds. The OwnPhones company started fundraising in July 2014 and reached its initial funding goal of $250,000 on August 3. OwnPhones created stretch goals to include a Windows App for $350,000 and to develop a charging case for $450,000.
OwnPhones created multiple reward levels for its backers, including:
- Early bird specials
- Custom 3D printed earbuds
- SmartFit earbuds with soundscaping control
OwnPhones is headquatered in San Diego, Califorinia and was founded by Itamar Jobani in 2015.
